Driving directions from Boston
- Travel time approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes (99 miles)
- Take the Southeast Expressway (I-93) south
- Take exit 7 on the left toward Cape Cod
- Merge onto Route 3 over the Sagamore Bridge
- The highway becomes Route 6 (mid-Cape Highway)
- In Orleans take the 2nd exit around the rotary – stay on Route 6
- Take care of the 40 mile an hour speed limit between Orleans and Wellfleet
- Look for the Wellfleet exit – Main Street
- Take 1st right on Commercial Street
- At Wellfleet Harbor take the right angle which becomes Kendrick Avenue
- Kendrick Avenue merges into Chequessett Neck Road
- Pass the Chequessett Yacht & Country Club
- Herring Cove House is 1 mile on the left
- Look for mailbox 1035 – go up driveway and see the larking and house to the left
